Plagiarism Policy

Analisis Sejarah: Mencari Jalan Sejarah is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. To ensure the authenticity of submitted manuscripts, the journal employs Turnitin plagiarism detection software as part of its review process.

1. Plagiarism Check

All submitted manuscripts undergo a thorough plagiarism check using Turnitin before proceeding to the peer review stage. This check is conducted to ensure that the work is original and free from any form of plagiarism, including direct copying of content, improper citation, or the use of others’ ideas without proper acknowledgment.

2. Similarity Index

The journal permits a maximum similarity index of 30%. This includes all forms of content matching, such as quotes, references, and unoriginal material. If the similarity index exceeds 30%, the manuscript will be immediately rejected without further review.

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscript adheres to this threshold before submission.

  • Manuscripts found with minor similarities (below 30%) may be returned to the authors for revision and proper citation of sources.

3. Consequences of Plagiarism

If plagiarism is detected during the initial screening or at any point in the publication process, the manuscript will be rejected, and the authors may be barred from future submissions to the journal. In cases where plagiarism is discovered post-publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the article, with an official retraction notice published on the journal's website.

4. Avoiding Plagiarism

Authors are encouraged to properly attribute all sources of data, research, and previously published material by using proper citations. Even in cases where paraphrasing is used, authors should ensure that the original source is cited appropriately to avoid unintentional plagiarism.

By enforcing this plagiarism policy, Analisis Sejarah ensures the publication of original, high-quality research and upholds the integrity of academic scholarship.
