Analisis Sejarah: Mencari Jalan Sejarah fully supports the archiving of manuscripts to promote the dissemination of knowledge and increase the visibility of research. In line with Sherpa Romeo guidelines, the journal allows authors to archive preprints, postprints, and the final published version of their manuscripts in any institutional or subject-based repositories, as well as on preprint servers.
1. Preprint Policy
Authors are encouraged to submit preprints (the original version of the manuscript prior to peer review) to any preprint servers or repositories of their choice at any time before or during the submission process. Posting a preprint will not affect the peer review process or editorial decision of Analisis Sejarah.
-
Preprint archiving is permitted without restrictions.
-
Authors are encouraged to provide a link to the preprint version upon submission and, after publication, update the record with a DOI linking to the published article in Analisis Sejarah.
2. Postprint Policy
Authors may archive the postprint version (the accepted manuscript after peer review and revisions but before typesetting and formatting by the journal) in institutional or subject repositories immediately upon acceptance.
-
Postprint archiving is allowed without an embargo period.
-
Authors should include a statement acknowledging that the article has been accepted for publication in Analisis Sejarah: Mencari Jalan Sejarah.
3. Published Version Policy
Authors are also permitted to archive the final published version (the fully formatted, typeset, and paginated article) in any repository or on personal websites immediately after publication.
-
No embargo is required for archiving the published version.
-
The archived version must include the citation to the article as published in Analisis Sejarah and a link to the final version on the journal’s website (using the DOI).
4. Attribution Requirements
For all versions of the manuscript (preprint, postprint, and published version), authors must include the following:
-
A full citation of the article once it has been published in Analisis Sejarah.
-
A link to the published version using the DOI.
-
Proper acknowledgment that the article was originally published in Analisis Sejarah: Mencari Jalan Sejarah.
5. Benefits of Repository Archiving
By allowing authors to archive all versions of their work, Analisis Sejarah enhances the visibility and accessibility of the research, leading to broader dissemination and greater impact. Archiving in repositories also ensures long-term preservation and provides open access to scholars and the public, in line with the journal's commitment to the Budapest Open Access Initiative.
